Community Impact

Community impact is about investing human and financial resources with local, state and national partners who are committed to supporting the LCFC’s focus areas—education, workforce development, health, civic engagement, and art and culture—through innovative and relevant initiatives that have measurable outcomes and help people reach their full potential.

In addition, special initiatives place emphasis around building community awareness, education, research, and policy, and often have a grantmaking component. They are built around an issue in the community where little attention has been given but where support can have tremendous impact for individuals, families and/or the community in general.

By building on the community’s assets, the LCFC realigns systems of access and innovation to maximize community participation.
